Indian Catering
After over 25 years in the Industry, Raj Kumar Kanojia really knows his way around a curry. In his kitchen he continues the traditions of northern India with its pristine beauty and rich, vibrant culture. This is reflected in the menu selection through a mouth-watering array of intricate textures, flavours and aromas. Only using the freshest ingredients and providing options for vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Prior to coming Melbourne, Raj spent 15years working for a 5 star hotel in India, started as an apprentice and spending several years as the head chef leading to his strong experience in north Indian cuisine and commercial kitchen.
Raj made a move to Melbourne to work in local Indian restaurant in the heart of Melbourne CBD. He opened his first restaurant in the year 2001 called Curry Masala which highly recommended in the Australian Achievers Awards. Following the success of Curry Masala he then opened his second restaurant in the year 2009 called Uday Indian Restaurant based in Doreen.
After such an extensive experience in the industry Raj is a master of matching a menu style for the event you’re hosting. Selection, style and service, those are the key elements that make any catering memorable. Let us do the hard work with love, care and passion.

Indian Classical Sangeet

At Mandap Creations, we have a team of musicians trained in Indian Classical Music who are available to play for your wedding, sangeet night or another event. The video above feature Mr Aman Kalyan, a tabla student of Ustad Tari Khan from Punjab gharana, and Mr David Balaban, a sitarist and student of Sugato Nag from Calcutta.

 

 

Lok Geet
Lok Geet music is a deep rooted tradition which has been passed on for thousands of centuries, and arise from the most humble, vibrant, and traditional colony of ancient idea. The artform has remained largely unchanged and is played regularly in wedding in Melbourne. Mandap creations has a team of musicians which specialise in this artform, and would be happy to entertain your guests.
 

 

Bollywood Music

Kavita Kalyan is a local artist, songwriter, and musician, who has been singing bollywood and ghazal in the Melbourne music scnene from a young age. Recenly she has been training indial classical vocals under Mrs Deepika Shome, and Mrs Esha Banarjee.
